A Dash of Culture
A Spanish mantilla wedding veil has always stood out to me as a unique and cultural enhancement to a bride’s look. This veil has been a form of traditional Spanish dress for centuries; it is usually made of silk lace, many times being Chantilly lace, but often handmade in Spain. These days they are also made out of tulle with a decorative silk lace border; a less-expensive, more transparent option that shows off more of the wedding dress than a lace mantilla would. A true mantilla veil is a veil that is not gathered, although it might be secured to the hair, a hair comb, or a headpiece. Either way, the mantilla is a subtle, elegant, and romantic choice for the modern bride. Find some good deals on Etsy, ebay. And more info here and here. Olé!
