Engagement Rings!

Trying on expensive engagement rings (just for the heck of it!) is just one of the countless perks of working with Events of Santa Barbara.

After a breathtaking experience at the local Tiffany's in Santa Barbara, I got to thinking--how should one go about picking out their dream engagement and wedding rings?

First, budget should be a main priority. Remember to spend what you are comfortable spending and try not to be blinded by love or a salesperson's pitch.

Second, decide what your style is. Vintage? Modern? Classic? Eclectic? Once you figure that out, do a bit of research on types of ring styles that you are drawn to. A good tip is also to study what jewelry you wear on a daily basis and try to incorporate those styles into the perfect ring for you.

Third, get familiar with the cut, clarity, and color of diamonds. This information will help you pick out the perfect stone, as these three aspects determine the amount you'll spend.
