"Trash the dress" is a type of wedding photography that focuses on the elegance of a bride's wedding dress but adds a very different twist.
There is no doubt that your wedding dress will be one of the most important (and expensive) dress purchases in your life. Many brides would be horrified to ruin their dresses but a few daring women decide to make a dramatic statement once their wedding is finalized.
Many of the "trash the dress" photo shoots I have seen are shot by the beach. The bride's white dress against the coarse sand and deep blue ocean makes for a stunning photo.
Some brides choose an unconventional location to trash their dress-- gas stations, graffiti walls, a field of flowers... the possibilities are endless!
I love the relaxed feel of these photo shoots. The bride and groom no longer have the stress of making sure their wedding is going smoothly.
